Crochet Workshop: Crochet Trinket Dish, July 25, 10am-12pm, 20 ppl - $60

Think crochet is just for rocking chairs and dust-covered doilies? Think again! We’re taking the most iconic element of crochet and giving it a Sharp & Social upgrade.

Whether you’ve never touched a hook or you’ve tried and ended in a tangled mess, this workshop is your perfect “re-intro” to the craft.

The Project:

In this workshop, we’re swapping the giant blankets for something a bit more portable. We’ll be making adorable trinket dishes!

The Foundations:

We’ll guide you through the essentials of the craft:

  • The Grip: How to hold your hook and tension your yarn without the hand cramps.

  • The Basics: Mastering the Foundation Chain, Single Crochet, and Double Crochet.

  • The Shape: A fun trinket dish, which once you know the basics of you can make at any size!

What's Included?

  • The best part? You get to keep your tools! Your ticket includes:

  • A skein of premium, colorful cotton yarn.

  • An ergonomic crochet hook.

  • A printed pattern guide to take home so you can keep the square making going.

The Vibe

  • We provide the premium yarn, the hooks, and the instruction—you provide the hands.

  • Flying Solo? Please do! Many of our attendees come on their own to meet new friends, though stitching with a bestie is always welcome, too.

  • Age Requirement: This workshop is for adults and teens 16+. For safety reasons, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Who We Are: Our Philosophy

At Sharp & Social, we believe that making things with your hands is good for the brain, but making them with friends is good for the soul. In a world that is increasingly digital and disconnected, we wanted to build a space where creativity and community intersect.

We founded this club on a simple premise: we all need a place to disconnect from our screens and reconnect with each other. Whether you are here to master a complex stitch, find a moment of quiet on a Saturday morning, or simply have a laugh while your hands are busy, you have a seat at our table.

We take our craft seriously, but never ourselves. Come get sharp with us.
