Using premium air-dry clay, you'll shape, assemble, and personalize your planter with beautiful botanical textures inspired by nature, creating a one-of-a-kind piece that's both functional and decorative.
Each registration includes a live succulent provided by South Street Gardens, perfectly paired with your handmade planter, along with instructions for drying, painting, and sealing your finished piece at home.

Simone Anthony-Brown is the Founder and Creative Director of Express Yourself Studios and a multidisciplinary artist and teaching artist with more than 17 years of experience leading creative workshops for adults, youth, and community groups. Her artwork has been exhibited at Newark Liberty International Airport – Terminal A, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Novartis, Art in the Atrium, the Newark Arts Festival, the Arts Council of Livingston, and the West Orange Arts Council, among others.
Known for her welcoming teaching style and thoughtfully designed workshops, Simone creates creative experiences that are approachable, inspiring, and leave participants with a handmade piece they'll be proud to take home.
