At South Street Gardens, we believe in bringing people together through meaningful experiences, community connections, and the discovery of wonderful local businesses. Our vendor events are thoughtfully curated to offer guests a unique and diverse shopping experience while providing vendors an opportunity to share what makes their business special.

What to Expect on Market Days

Saturday, October 3

8am - 5pm

  • 11am - 4pm: Fall Pet Photoshoot with Preregistration & Professional Photographer

  • 11am: Free Cupcake Decorating for first 50 guests while supplies last

  • 8am - 3pm: Cedar & Salt Food Truck

  • Rain Date for Vintage Car Show (8am-11am)

Sunday, October 4

9am - 4pm

  • 9am - 12pm: Vintage Car Show

Vendor Table Fees & Information

$75 for 1 market day

$125 for two market days

  • Outdoor Event (Rain or Shine): Courtyard and outdoor areas near nursery & food truck.

  • Your table will be reserved and ready for set up on your market day(s).

  • SSG Business Hours: Saturday 8am - 5pm and Sunday 9am - 4pm.

  • Set Up: Saturday, please set up between 7:30am - 9am. Sunday, please set up between 8:30 - 9am. You may may unload your vehicle onsite. We ask that you then park your vehicle in our office lot located at 365 South Street (2 story brick office building 2 doors North of SSG). Please do not walk on our neighbors’ lawns.

  • Break down: Break down is permitted after 3:00pm until business closing times (Saturday 5pm/ Sunday 4pm). You may bring your vehicle back on-site to pack up.

  • If you participate in both market days, your materials may stay on-site, but will need to be protected and relocated inside or under the Green House weather permitting.

  • Registration fee includes an 8’ table & 2 chairs.

  • Please bringing a table cloth that will cover the front & sides of the table so that inventory is not visible. Tablecloth should be clean, wrinkle-free, and in good condition.

  • Inventory and personal belongings should be neatly stored and concealed whenever possible.

  • All displays must fit within the assigned vendor space.

  • Walkways must remain clear.

  • Displays should not interfere with neighboring vendors or SSG Nursery displays.

  • A tent is optional. It may not be larger than 10’ x 10’ (not provided). Tent must be weighted down securely with weights or sandbags. The surface will not allow for stakes to be used.

  • Vendor Space must be maintained in a safe, clean, and attractive manner.

  • Booths must be staffed by persons 18 years or older. Children must be supervised at all times. Vendors are not permitted to bring their pets.

  • Food Vendors must apply for a Temporary Food Permit from the Morris Township Health Department. Submit a completed Morris Township Temporary Food Establishment License Application by mail or hand deliver to: Morris Township Health Department 50 Woodland Avenue, P.O. Box 7603 Convent Station, NJ 07961.

  • Certificate of Insurance and Temporary Food Permit (if applicable) should be submitted to catherine@southstreetgardens.com no later than October 1.

  • Vendor fees are non-refundable for cancellations made fewer than 10 days prior to the event. However, South Street Gardens may, at its discretion, issue a refund if the canceled vendor space is successfully filled from our waitlist or with another approved vendor.

  • Severe Weather & Event Cancellation: In the event of severe weather, including thunderstorms, lightning, high winds, or other conditions that may create an unsafe environment for vendors and guests, South Street Gardens reserves the right to postpone or cancel the market.

    If the market is postponed, South Street Gardens will make every effort to reschedule the event for an alternate date. Vendor fees will be applied to the rescheduled event. If South Street Gardens is unable to reschedule the event, or if a vendor is unable to participate on the rescheduled date, the vendor fee will be refunded in full.

    The safety of our vendors, guests, and staff will always be our first priority.
